Monster movie buff Forrest Ackerman visited Jackson's tiny cottage in 1990. He brought with him an original model from the 1933 King Kong. Ackerman holds Jackson's treasured copy of Ackerman's magazine Famous Monsters of Filmland, featuring the flying dinosaur. "I get goosebumps doing things like that. Years later, when Forry decided it was time to part with some of his collection, he kindly offered me his original Kong models. I'm now the custodian of them and hope to get them into a museum."
