Description: Students will have opportunities to: develop an understanding of the scientific method to solve problems, investigate the history of atomic energy and examine its applications, recognize relationships between science, technology and society, define and clarify a problem, judge information related to the problem, suggest solutions, and draw conclusions, relate career opportunities to the sciences, and examine how atomic discoveries have relationships among a variety of academic disciplines.
