Research Focus:
What can I do in my own community to help others? What are the steps that I need to take to move from an idea to taking action?

Research Topics:
Research needs in your neighborhood that match your interests and talents. These might include education, sports, the environment, politics etc.

Research Outcomes:
Complete the following problem profile and action plan. After you have participated in an advocacy activity, write a monologue to share with the class about your experience.

Problem Profile:
Research three problems in your area that you need to understand more fully in order to select one of them for your action plan and volunteer participation.
